Precision CZ457 Build with Ultimate Rigidity and Accuracy
At Desert Precision Gunworks, we are the only shop that squares up these actions and mill-threads the receiver. This process enhances the rigidity of the system by eliminating grub screws and relief cuts while allowing the barrel to be removed and factory/prefits to be used if desired. Our in-house barrels are the straightest on the market, with ZERO cold bore shift guaranteed. This rifle is built to dominate NRL22 and provide peace of mind with its accuracy and reliability. Mill-turning the threads, while slower, greatly reduces the risk of misalignment compared to single-point cutting.
The Custom “Notchless” Threaded Barrel is designed for ultimate rigidity and accuracy.
Specifications:
Caliber: 22LR
Barrel Specs: DPG 1.200″ straight contour barrel @ 24″ with 1:16 twist, custom chambered with a JGS Match chamber headspaced at .043″.
Barrel Material: Proprietary 416 blend, harmonically dampened to perform exceptionally across multiple ammo types and lots.
Includes our CZ457 Talon Extractors v1.2
Action: New CZ457 with factory trigger set at 1.25 lbs break
Magazine: Includes one 5-round magazine
Field-Tested Accuracy
This rifle is in NEW condition, tested with 100-200 rounds to ensure accuracy and reliability. DPG guarantees it will shoot:
.300″ or better at 50 yards and Sub 1″ at 100 yards
Tested with SK Rifle, Lapua Center-X/Midas+, and Eley Tenex/Match. Lot testing is recommended for optimal performance.
