Our Barrels are made from 416SS, Hand lapped and chambered by hand. Each chamber is designed to run both Eley and Lapua length rim thickness. This custom configuration allows the consistent ignition for all precision oriented rimfire ammo. Crush on the projectile (the amount of presentation of the projectile into the rifling) is optimized by engaging the 2nd drive band on the bullet on multiple bullet types. This enhances the accuracy performance of the rifle.

On Twist Rate, here is a General Guide:
A 1:16 twist rate is the traditional standard for .22LR, generally ideal for Applications inside 300 yards, while a 1:12 twist is faster and better suited for stabilizing projectiles and ammo designed for long-range shooting. For most rimfire use, a 1:16 is excellent, but a 1:12 can offer better accuracy potential with ELR applications. If your application is PRS, NRL or Bench Rest, we recommend 1:16.
